PG / VG:

Propylene Glycol (or PG) belongs to the family of glycol ethers, it is commonly used in the cosmetics, medical and food industries. The PG has the particularity of vaporizing from 50 ° and promotes the “hit” (contraction of the pharynx during the passage of steam), sought by the smoker.

Vegetable Glycerin (or VG), is part of the polyol family and also vaporizes at low temperature. It produces more vapor than propylene glycol, and softens the potentially irritating effect of PG.

VG’s viscosity limits the life of atomizers and it can distort the taste of flavouring.
